"Jenny",knitting cowl by Marieta Iosifidou 

Jenny cowl is an easy knitting work and the result is absolute beautiful. Very good even for beginners in knitting .Working in one size. The bulky yarn which I used, looks the strips which meshed , very beautiful. The number of stitches in the pattern are enough for the cowl. More stitches will be very big and less will be very pure .

I used yarn Kartopu Zambak but any yarn bulky 205 - 218 yards (187 - 199 m),knitting needles 5,5mm-US9 or 6mm-US10(if you knit strech) will give very good result. More you will need

•  6 safety pins or pieces of scrap yarn to hold stitches
• A pair of scissor
• A hook for the fringes

The colors which  I used are in my lovely green color.

 Η Βούλα είναι ένα πολύ άξιο, δημιουργικό κορίτσι, δεινή πλέκτρια και μοναδική χειροτέχνισσα. Με ενέπνευσε λοιπόν και έτσι ο γιακάς πήρες το όνομά της. Καλοτάξιδος να είναι. 

 Τα Υλικά που χρησιμοποιούμε είναι  :

·         Nήμα super chunky 200 gram - 80μέτρα/κουβάρι

·         Ο γιακάς της φωτογραφίας είναι πλεγμένος με νήμα  Kartopu special collection TEMPO - 200 gram. 80mtr. color K530 - 25% Superwash Wool - 75% Acrylic

·         Bελόνες  κυκλικές ν.10 

• 1 σημάδι  

·         Δείγμα : 7π x 10 σ= 4 inc - 10cm

Διαστάσεις: 20εκατ.ύψος  x 70 εκατ. περιφέρεια-μήκος.

Συντομογραφίες των τεχνικών που χρησιμοποιούμε για το σχέδιο ειναι :

·         Σ: σειρά

·         Κ: Καλός πόντος

·         Α: Ανάποδος πόντος

·         π : πόντος

·         τδ: τοποθέτησε δείκτη

·         μδ: μετακίνησε δείκτη

 Voula is a good friend , big crafter and super knitter. I gave her name in the pattern because she loves it so much.

Matterials that we'll need for the cowl is :

·         Yarn: Super chunky 200 gram /7oz per skein – 80mtr/31,5inc

o   For the cowl in the photo, I used yarn Kartopu special collection TEMPO - 200 gram/7oz, 80mtr/31,5inch, color K530-25% Superwash Wool- 75% Acrylic

·         Needles circular 10mm (US 15)  

·         Gauge : 7sts x 10 rows: 4 inc - 10cm

Dimensions:  with a light blogging - 20cm high x 70cm in round

Abbreviations:

·         R: row

·         Κ: Knit

·         P: Purl

·         st : stitch

·         Yo:Yarn Over

·         pm: put marker

·         sm: slip marker

·         sst: slip stitch
