Clutch Crochet Bag, "Dora", by Marieta Iosifidou

Decide, to Complete my evening outfit with the Dora Clutch Bag.  Love it.

Is an accessory that  elevate  clothing style, and give a special touch to  stylistic presence, on an evening out. 

It has the perfect size to hold the essentials that accompany a lady on  evening outings. (a small wallet, phone, makeup essentials)

 Size: The bag will be about 30cm (12in) wide and 19cm (7.5in) in length when finished

Materials:

• Bow-Knot Head Metal Purse Frame
  

• Tapestry Needle
• Hook : 4mm Crochet Hook
• Lining in the same color as the yarn
• Size: The bag will be about 30cm (12in) wide and 19cm (7.5in) in length when finished

Yarn Info: 
100% Polyester
 used 3skeins in total - 50gr/130meters per skein.

"Black & White" crochet Backpack, just finished for a sweet young lady 👸.

Materials:

        Yarn: Sport  macrame polyester - total 400 grams/13,65oz 

        in two colors.

        If you prefer, can use  leftover yarns -multicolor backpack)

Progress in the starting 

        • Crochet hook

          n.4mm/US H-8  to crochet the body of the bag and

 n.3.5 /US E-4 to make the holes in the bottom of the bag

        • a kit with all the leather parts for the BackPack –

       (sole, closing cap, tightening straps, back straps)

• lining fabric, scissors, sewing thread, sewing needles,

• Measurment – Dimensions:  28cm width x 32cm high

Slow by slow the progress of Black & White Backpack

             

        Notions: 

       Used Mosaic Zig Zag Stitch (I found it and as Apache Tears

       Stitch) 

       Crocheting in round. Stitches multiple of 6. 

       6 hours crocheting

         Increases at the bottom of the bag are very important

Notions: 

Canestro stitch worked in round with odd number of stitches 

(canestro st in the next helpful video)

 

 Materials:

• Yarn DK macrame polypropylenium -total 350 grams/12,35oz

• Crochet hook:

          n.5mm/US H-8  to crochet the body of the bag and

          n.3.5 /US E-4 to make the holes in the bottom of the bag

• a kit with all the leather parts for the Back Pack – 

    (sole, closing cap, tightening straps, back straps)

• lining fabric, scissors, sewing thread, sewing needles,

• Measurment – Dimensions:  25cm width x 27cm high

• Note that the increases at the bottom of the bag are very important . Used the next video-helpful

 “Red Flame” 

Handmade Crochet Bag,

During walking in YouTube, met this beautiful bag. As looking for yarn in stash, found 200gr red makrame yarn DK, plus little dark Blue and white yarn, a hook 4mm/G (6) and the journey for the Red Flame Bag, was started.

Started with a magic ring, and continue to create-crochet a  Solid Granny Square which will be the base of the bag.

 Instructions

Abbreviations:

• Ch:  chain
• dc: double crochet
• mr: magic ring 
  
• slst : slip stitch
• Rnd : round 
  

Starting: magic ring,

Rnd 1: all dc works into the mr(circle)

ch3(which counts as 1dc) + 3dc into mr (circle), ch2, 

4dc-2ch-4dc-2ch-4dc-2ch

 join the last ch with slst with the 3^rd chain of the start, 

Here completed the 1^st rnd.

Rnd 2: ch3(counts as 1dc), make 1dc on every stitch of previous rd until the space of 2chs, into the ch2 space make 2dc-ch3-2dc, continue till the end of the round with the same way and join the last ch with slst with the 3^rd chain of the round start,

Continue with the same way, as Rnd 2 utill your granny square  reach a required measurement. that you need, for the base of your bag (smaller or larger as it suits you).

Here finished with the increases and start, to crochet the chevron stitch from the chart  

You can crochet the bag with one color of more colors. 

It depends on your opinion. 

I have lined the inside of the bag with red lining to keep the bag stable. Also sewed a magnet for a clasp.

Love the result.
