Cozy Eggs Hat by Marieta Iosifidou 

Spring is coming and Easter is two steps from today.

 Love Easter, spring and cozy little things.

 I decide to crochet cozy hats for the Easter Eggs. Hope you like it.

If you crochet some cozy Easter eggs with this pattern,

Materials:

Sport yarn or any DK light – 30gram

gauge: 22st x 29rows-4”x4” / 10cm x 10cm.

Hook: 4mm hook
1 Stitch marker

a pair of scissor

1 Needle sew for the yarn 

Abbreviations : in American terms (US)

sc: single crochet

slst -  slip stitch

sm : stitch marker

pm: put marker (to mark the starting of row)

Ch (s): chain(s)

inc : single crochet increase (2sc in the same st)
R: Round

rep : repeat

mg: magic ring 

Starting:

·R 1: mg, 1sc which not counts in the pattern, 5sc in mg, joins last sc with the 1^st sc of the pattern. 1ch to start the 2^nd round, pm, (5sc)

· R 2: inc. in every stitch of the previous round. Join last sc with the top of the sm.  1ch to start the new 3^rd round, pm, (10sc) –

·R 3: *1sc into the 1^st st,  inc  into the next st*, rep around. Join last scwith the top of the sm. 1ch to start the new 4^thround, pm, (15sc) – 

· R4 : 1sc in every st of the round . Join last sc with the loop with the sm. 1ch to start the new 5^thround, pm, (15sc)

·R 5: *1sc in every next 2sts, inc*. Rep around.  Join last sc with the

 loop with the sm. 1ch to start the new 6^thround, pm, (20sc) –

·R 6: *1sc in every next 3sts, inc*. Rep around.  Join last sc with 

the loop with the sm. 1ch to start the new 7^thround, pm, (25sc)

·R 7-13 : 1sc in every st of the round . 

From here and till the end of the cozy egg hat, we don’t join last st with the 1^st of the round. (25sc in every round)

· R14: I used crab stitch in the very last round. You can use single crochet, or make a picot with 2chs. It depends on your opinion.

Cut the yarn, weave in ends.

Make o pom pom to put in the top or decorate the top with a cozy button. 

R1: Magic ring – 5sc in the mg (5sc)

R2 : *sc increase*, rep around (10sc)

R3 : *1sc, sc inc. in the next st* rep around (15sc)

R4: *1sc * rep around (15sc)

R5: *1sc, 1sc, sc inc* rep around (20sc)

R6: *1sc, 1sc, 1sc, 1sc inc* rep around (25sc)

R7 – R13: *1sc in every st around (25sc in every round)

R14 : crab stitch around.
