Yogurt Pancakes by Marieta Iosifidou
- An easy dessert or breakfast, everyone loves it. Delicious food, for all hours of the day and night.
- You can taste it, savory or sweet.Served:
- with cheese, ham, salad or
- with Philadelphia cheese, slices offruits, jam, honey and cinnamon, nutella .
For yogurt pancakes you will need
Ingredients
- 250gr/ 10oz plain Yogurt (strained of Greek Yogurt)
- 3 tbsp. Baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 of cup, sunflower oil
- 1/4 of cup oragne juice (juice of 2 fresh oranges)
- 1 tbsp Slightly grated orange peel
- 1 ½ cup of plain Flour - 200gram plain Flour
- 1 tbsp. Salt
- 1 ½ tbsp. Sugar
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together, the eggs, yogurt,orange juice, salt, sugar, orange peel and oil.
- Sift the flour. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Add it to the bowl.
- Beat the mixture a little to have a very soft and fluffy dough.
- Get your frying pan over a medium flame,
- rub a little oil on the pan or spray whatever you are using,
- then add even dollops of the mixture to the pan.
- Cook approximate 1 minute before flipping and repeating for around 30 seconds to brown the other side,
