Autumn 🍂 Sunday Funday Reflections, by Marieta's Yarnland

                                        🍂 Autumn Sunday Funday  Reflections

                                                  by Marieta's Yarnland
Good morning and wish you all a beautiful, relaxing Sunday! ☀️
Sundays are the perfect opportunity to chase all those small, beautiful moments we tend to put off during the busy workweek.
Your book is waiting: 📖 It’s the ideal excuse to brew a warm cup of coffee and lose yourself in the opening pages of a new story, completely ignoring the clock.
The sun is still out: ☕️ Let's take advantage of its warmth while the weather still allows it! Take a slow walk, find a bench in a quiet spot, or sit at a cozy café and soak up every single ray.
Reclaim connections: It is the perfect day to make that phone call to a dear friend you haven't caught up with in a while.
The "new beginning" notebook: Don't be afraid of that blank page! You don't need to write anything groundbreaking or deeply profound. Just crack it open and write exactly how you feel today, a gentle goal for the coming month, or simply a note on how beautiful this morning is. The second page is always easier because you’ve already taken that brave first step.
Have a wonderful time today, whatever you choose to do!

P.S. A peek into my own Sunday:
My day is shaping up to be a perfect mix of literature, crafting, and culture:
  • It starts with a good book: I'm diving into The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles.

It is a deeply moving story based on true events that celebrates the enduring power of books and friendship during difficult times. It perfectly matches today’s reflective mood.
  • Progressing with my passion:

  • I'll be spending the afternoon knitting! I am preparing my pieces for an upcoming exhibition organized by the Narrative Embroideries group. It will be held at the beautiful Angeliki Chatzimichali Museum of Folk Art and Tradition located in the historic Plaka district of Athens, featuring a lovely Christmas Celebration theme.
  • A dramatic finale: I will close my evening by attending the Greek theatrical play "O Fonias" (The Killer). It is a powerful production that tackles the heavy reality of femicide and explores how traditional culture historically responded to crime and acquittal.
And that is exactly why we always need a Sunday safely tucked between our days.

Are you working on any cozy crafting or knitting projects this weekend?
If you are in Athens, I would love to see you at the exhibition in Plaka!
Drop a comment below and let me know what’s currently on your needles. 🧶✨
