Warm Slouchy Hat is one of my new knitting patterns. This winter knitting hats are my inspiration.
I love very much the slouchy style and is very warm and special soft. I used Aran Rowan yarn, and needles n.4mm/US6 for the rib and n.5mm/US8 for the body of the hat.
I always loved the "coin stitch" and now is the opportunity to use it in one of my pattern.
The Warm Slouchy Hat with style "coin stitch", starting from bottom-up and hat features a rib to keep the hat snug and solid on your head . The "coin stitch" pattern in the body of the hat looks visually complex, but as follow the written instructions of the pattern and with the repeats, is simple and pleasurable to knit. The pattern can worked in two different colors for a pop and happily result or by using one color for a solid result. (I used colors from rest of older knitting works - great idea to take advantage of half skeins).

The first color ( I used vert) will be your "background" color and also, is your cast on color. The second color will be your "Blister check or coin stitch " of the pattern. As the hat grows up, give to knitter fun and pleasure.
I love very much pom pom, so I sew one with the two used colors in the top of the hat. Another idea is I to use a very big and colorful button in stead of pompom. You can found the pattern here: warm-slouchy-hat
