" Thassos Shawl" pattern, by Marieta Iosifidou

 

 

 

The stitches which are symbolically chosen

 (Knit, Purl, Fillet, Increases - Fixed rows net and Decreases)

 and the way they are divided up in the shawl take me

 to all the lovely corners of the island.

  

The yellow colour from the leaves of plane trees in the square of the traditional village Kazaviti

• The sunset colour from Belvedere beach, 
• Happy and Relaxing hours with our friends , 
• The green colour  of olive leaves  in the olive grove of Prinos village
• The joy and happiness that shines in the eyes of  my lovely Paul
• The flowering yuccas in our rock garden and
• The rose colour of the grapes and wine

Rightly dedicated to all of my friends and our pictures in my heart, the island of Thassos inspired me to create and share the “Thassos Shawl” pattern for all those who will choose itto provide them with warmth and coziness.

For my shawl, I selected the yarn DK Aran. I used needles n.5,5 (US 9.0)

Begi scarf Pattern

 A Christmas Gift for begginers  in the knitting world. Is very easy and happily. The result is very soft and puff. Absolute you will love that scarf . Is easy wearing and very warn. You need worsted yarn and big n. of needles. You have to know casting on, bind off ,  Knit and Purl and to follow the instructions.

Begi Unisex Scarf – in English, by Marieta Iosifidou

A puffy stitch,  special for knitting beginners. Following the instruction and  you will have a very puffy unisex scarf. The result is absolute fluffy  and  you will like it.
Abbreviations:
•    CO- cast on            ● K – knit stitch
•    St - stitches            ● P – purl
•    BO – Bind Off
•    R– row                               
•    RS – right side        
•    WS – wrong side   
Material:
•    Yarn: any yarn worsted , aprox.320 yards (it depends on the length of the scarf).
•    Needles n. 6m.m – 7mm.
•    scissor
Gauge:
4"x4" = 18 s x 24 r (stockinette)

 Instructions:
•    Cast on  31 stitches
•    The number or stitches that we use, must be multiple of 4 -1.
•    R1- RS = *(K3, P1 )* -  repeat from * till the end of the row. Your row, finish with 3K stitches.
•    R2 - WS = Κ1, P1 ,*(K3, P1)* repeat from * till  1 stitch before the end of the row, Κ1.
•    Repeat these two rows, (R1 & R2) until your scarf to has the desire length. 
•    Bind Off all stitches lazy.

Begi Κασκόλ – Unisex

Μία αφράτη πλέξη, ειδικά για τους πρωτοβαλμένους στο πλέξιμο, που γίνεται ένα υπέροχο unisex κασκόλ, για αγόρια και κορίτσια.  Το αποτέλεσμα θα σας καταπλήξει και το πλέξιμο θα σας κατακτήσει. Ξεκινάμε λοιπόν:

Συντομογραφίες:

·          Ρ π- ρίχνουμε πόντους                                  ● K – καλός πόντος

·         π – πόντοι                                                       ● Α – ανάποδος πόντος

·         Σ – σειρά                                                                                            

·         ΚΠ – καλή πλευρά του πλεκτού                    

·         ΑΠ – ανάποδη-πίσω πλευρά του πλεκτού    

Τι θα χρειαστούμε:

·         Νήμα: χοντρό νήμα, με πάχος νήματος 4 . Μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε οποιοδήποτε νήμα γεμάτο σε πάχος το οποίο να πλέκεται με βελόνες ν.5mm ή ν.6 τουλάχιστον. 

·         Χρώμα δικής σας επιλογής.

·          Βελόνες ν. 6m.m.

·         Ψαλίδι

Δείγμα:

4"x4" = 18 π x 24 σ (ζέρσεϋ πλέξη-κάλτσα) 

Οδηγίες για το πλέξιμο:

·         Ρπ 31π = Ρίχνουμε 31 πόντους

Ο αριθμός πόντων που θα χρησιμοποιήσουμε πρέπει να είναι (πολλαπλάσιο του 4 πλήν 1 πόντο (4-1) για να βγεί σωστό  το σχέδιο μας.

·         Σ1- KΠ = *(3Κ, 1 Α )* -  επαναλαμβάνουμε * έως *  έως το τέλος της σειράς. Η σειρά τελειώνει με  3Κ(3 πόντοι καλή) .

·         Σ2 - ΑΠ = 1Κ, 1Α ,*(3Κ, 1 Α)*  επανάληψη από  * μέχρι 1 πόντο πριν από το τέλος της σειράς, Κ1.

·         Επαναλαμβάνουμε τις σειρές 1 & 2 μέχρι να έχουμε το επιθυμητό μήκος στο κασκόλ μας.

·         Όταν φτάσουμε στο μήκος που θέλουμε, κλείνουμε όλους τους πόντους χαλαρά.
