"H1N1" Mittens by Marieta Iosifidou 

My dear friends, my new pattern for mittens "H1N1" has just be in Ravelry. Mittens H1N1

I inspired the pattern as I was in some difficult nights in the hospital with my husband. During the nights I was crocheting and that gave me power and antistress. I had possitive attitude and so everythings went good with the health and the fingerless have all the powerfull and dream for health and life.
Is a very easy and quickly project. I used color yarns from my stash and the only yarn that I bought 

is the basic (1 skein is o.k.). I used hook n.4 (G).

Αγαπητοί μου φίλοι, το νέο μου σχέδιο για γάντια χωρίς δάχτυλα με βελονάκι που βαφτίστηκε 
 "Η1Ν1", είναι έτοιμο και μόλις κυκλοφόρησε στο Ravelry  Mittens H1N1  
Η έμπνευση ήρθε τις δύσκολες βραδυές που περάσαμε με τον Παύλο μου,  στο νοσοκομείο και δίναμε αγώνα σκληρό με τον Η1Ν1.  Εκείνα τα βράδια, το βελονάκι και το νήμα, ήταν η συντροφιά που μου έδινε δύναμη και έπαιρνε μακρυά το άγχος και τις πικρές σκέψεις μαζί με τη θετική σκέψη όλων των φίλων που μας σκέφτονταν. Με θετική σκέψη και διάθεση ξεπεράστηκαν οι δυσκολίες και όλα έγιναν ένα όνειρο που πέρασε και έμειναν τα γαντάκια για να θυμίζουν τις στιγμές της αγωνίας (συμβολικά).

Ειναι ένα εύκολο σχέδιο, μικρό πλεκτάκι που δίνει χαρά . Χρησιμοποίησα νήματα πολύχρωμα από το αποθηκάκι μου και το μόνο που αγόρασα ήταν το βασικό χρώμα, Αlize Cashmire fine. Χρησιμοποίησα βελονάκι ν.4 . Καλό πλέξιμο , με χαρά και θετική διάθεση. 

Μαρτιάτικο βραχιόλι - March's Bracelet

1. Μαρτιάτικο Βραχιόλι με βελονάκι της Μαριέτας Ιωσηφίδου

Το βραχιολάκι του Μάρτη στην Ελλάδα της καρδιάς μας,  συμβολίζει τον ερχομό της ΄Ανοιξης και το ξύπνημα της ζωής ξανά μετά το χειμώνα. Τα παιδιά την πρώτη μέρα του Μάρτη , βάζουν στο χεράκι τους δύο κλωστούλες στριμμένες μεταξύ τους και τις φοράνε μέχρι 31 Μαρτίου για να μην καούν από τον δυνατό ήλιο του Μάρτη. Οταν τις βγάλουν, αφήνουν το βραχιολάκι τους στα φυτά της αυλής ή στη γλάστρα για να το πάρουν τα χελιδόνια και να το ταξιδέψουν στα πέρατα της γης. Με έμπνευση από την Ελληνική μας παράδοση, τις θύμησες από τα παιδικά μου χρόνια και τα βραχιολάκια στο διαδίκτυο , έπλεξα και έγραψα το νέο μου σχέδιο για Μαρτιάτικο βραχιολάκι που μπορείτε να βρείτε εδώ Μαρτιάτικο βραχιόλι της Μαριέτας Ιωσηφίδου
 Εγώ χρησιμοποίησα βαμβακερό νήμα  (το έπλεξα και με ακρυλικο που είχα, έγινε πιό μεγάλο σε μέγεθος) και βελονάκι ν.2. To συνολικό μήκος του βραχιολιού δεν ξεπερνά τα 11-15 εκατοστά. Εξαρτάτε από το μέγεθος της κλωστής και του χεριού που θα φορεθεί.  Δεν θα σας πάρει περισσότερο από μία ώρα για να ολοκληρώσετε το πλεκτό σας.  Μπορείτε να διακοσμήσετε το βραχιολάκι σας με πέρλες λευκές και κόκκινες ή και με μικρά ματόχαντρα. Για να δημιουργήσω το δέξιμο στο βραχιολάκι μου, χρησιμοποίησα κορδέλες σε κόκκινο και άσπρο χρώμα .  Μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε και κρικάκια για κοσμήματα και κλιπς.
 Καλό Μήνα και προσοχή μη σας κάψει ο Μάρτης.

The March bracelet in Greece, symbolizing the coming of Spring. On the first day of March the children put in their hand a wristband with red and white yarn, to have luck and not be burned by the blazing sun. Inspired by children and in March that comes in a few days in our lives, I knit and I wrote the pattern for a happy and easy bracelet. I used thick yarn, cotton perle petalouda n.5 and a hook n.2. It took me an hour to finished it. You can decorate the bracelet with perle in white and red color of an perle of beads you prefer. I like very much beads eye. The length for the bracelet depends on the hand. Usually 12-15cm. You can use ribbons red and white in the two sides to ty a bow in the end of to use clips for the jewelry. Enjoy your March Bracelet.
